Draft for legal review. Written as a starting point and not yet reviewed by a lawyer. Highlighted [brackets] need your details. Remove this notice after review.
Draft of 5 November 2026. These rules form part of the Terms of use.
1. The one rule
Do not post anything that belongs to your employer, your clients or your customers. This applies everywhere on the site: posts, comments, profiles, file names, images and links. Share what you learned, not what you hold.
2. What counts as work information
If in doubt, treat it as work information. It includes:
- Names of your employer, clients, customers, sites or programmes, and anything that identifies them by description.
- Real agent, team or customer names, IDs, schedules, performance, pay or personal circumstances.
- Call recordings, chat or email transcripts, case details and screenshots from internal tools or dashboards.
- Contract terms, SLAs, penalties, rates, prices, revenue, headcount plans and budgets.
- Internal documents, policies, forecasts, reports and anything marked confidential or covered by a non-disclosure agreement.
- Real volumes, handle times or service levels that someone could connect to a specific operation.
- Login details, system names, internal links, IP addresses and security information.
3. How to share safely
- Describe the shape, not the data. "A chat queue with a daily peak at 11:00" says enough.
- Swap real for fictional. Use Queue A and Site B. Shift dates. Scale volumes by a factor you keep to yourself.
- Round and generalise. "About a quarter" instead of "24.7%".
- Check the extras. File names, tab names, chart titles, screenshot headers and document properties often carry names.
- Run the draft through Check before you post. It is a safety net, not a guarantee.
| Instead of | Say |
|---|---|
| "Our billing chat queue at [client] hit 91% occupancy on Monday." | "A chat queue I know hit about 90% occupancy on a Monday. What would you check first?" |
| A screenshot of your real dashboard. | A rebuilt chart with fictional numbers and no logos. |
| "Agent Sam keeps missing adherence." | "A team member's adherence slips on late shifts. How do you start the conversation?" |
4. Using AI here
- Say when something is AI-assisted and what you checked yourself.
- Check before you share. Recompute numbers, and read the output as your employer would.
- Never paste other people's content into an AI tool or into a post without the right to do so.
- Your organisation's AI policy comes first. If it restricts a tool, do not use that tool for work-related questions, here or anywhere.
5. How we behave
- Be specific and kind. Disagree with ideas, not people.
- No harassment, discrimination, abuse, threats or hate. No sexual content.
- No naming and shaming of individuals or organisations, including "which centres are the worst".
- No recruiting, advertising or unsolicited sales messages, and no spam or referral links.
- No legal, HR or medical advice posted as fact. Share experience, and suggest asking a qualified person.
- Do not share anyone's private messages or contact details without their permission.
- Do not post anything you do not have the right to post, such as pirated software or other people's paid material.
6. What happens when rules are broken
If something might contain confidential or personal information, we remove it first and review it afterwards. We may also edit formatting, hold posts for review, warn you, suspend your account or remove it. Serious or repeated breaches mean removal. We do not have to explain every decision, but we will tell you what we removed and why where we can.
To report a post, or to ask us to remove something, use the report page.
7. What stays your responsibility
- You are responsible for what you post, and for checking that you are allowed to share it.
- Posts here are opinions and experience from other members. They are not professional advice. See the disclaimer.
- This is not the place to discuss a dispute with your employer or to ask for legal advice. Speak to a qualified adviser or your union or representative body.
